This week is my first solo show. Click here for itunes or here for soundcloud. I share the direction I started with the podcast, and ask for your input on what you would like to hear coming up. You can connect @_a_secondchance on twitter or leave a comment at the bottom of the page, thank you!
I watched a show on YouTube that I found touching. Craftsmanfounder, with host Lucas Carlson and co host Eliot Peper; interviewed Espree Devora. Espree just started a podcast called, WeAreLATech. It made it into the top of itunes New & Noteworthy by the second show.
She is very open and honest and shares her fears about podcasting. This really touched me and helped me to open up about my own fears. I had fears from my experience in the hospital, about my path to healing today, about my own new podcast and where I am going in life.
Lucas shared a personal story about how he quit his job a few months before his first child was born. He was successful in the end, but had no way of knowing when he made the decision how things would go.
I Love, Love to surround myself with stories of people who have made scary decisions, despite the fear they felt, and made it!
I share an interview with you that really touched me; Noah Galloway, on Relaunch. Noah was featured on this months edition of Men’s Health Magazine. He is a double amputee, that despite his challenges has created a life that allows him to help others.
Have you seen the documentary I AM?
I was moved by the movie and could watch it again and again. Tom Shadyac asks today’s most profound thinkers, What is wrong with the world? What can we do about it?
He lived a lifestyle that many people dream of. He ended trading it all in for a lifestyle that was much more fulfilling and simple.
Tom has an open invitation to be on the show anytime. I would love the opportunity to interview him and can only imagine how much knowledge he can offer: about recovering from a near death experience, building an intentional life, finding happiness and helping others.

Check out carmichs review, amazing experience. Thank you again, your support is appreciated.
I came across A Second Chance podcast from a mutual podcasting friend, Mr. John Lee Dumas. When I found out he was on the show, I listened in. I never had a near death experience myself, but when I was in high school a child hood friend was carjacked and murdered. The night he was murdered, I was out of the area and was driving home from a short trip I was on for work. As I was driving, I was overcome with a strange feeling of chills and emotion that lasted about 5 minutes. The next morning at school I found out that my friend was murdered at around that exact same time I was having those feelings, yet there was no way to know at that time. I have never had that same feeling again or at any other time of my life. After hearing John’s story from Iraq, I picked up another episode and another and another. Amazing stories, well done.
So much to inspire us from these stories!
